Transformation
Antique Chinese Coin is a symbol of unity within eternity. The Chinese coins used in these necklaces are purported (I am not a Chinese coin expert) to be between 500-900 years old. The calligraphy of the coins is quite captivating- I have not removed the natural patina that comes with aging as I feel it enhances the authenticity and uniqueness of each coin.
Hematite is the “stone for the mind.” It helps one to “sort-out” things in ones mind, and can be used for mental attunement, memory enhancement, original thinking, and technical knowledge. Although this stone enhances mental capability, it provides for a calming atmosphere concurrently, and, in addition, encourages one to “reach for the sun.” It helps one realize that the only limitations, which exist, are those self-limiting concepts within the mind. Hematite reduces stress, enhances personal magnetism, optimism, will and courage. It is also conducive to enabling one to enter into a loving relationship.
Jade is known as the “dream stone,” and as the stone of “fidelity,” bringing realization to ones potential and devotion to ones purpose.” In prehistoric times, jade was esteemed for its toughness, which made it an ideal material for weapons and tools. As early as 3000 B.C. jade was known in China as ‘yu’ the “royal gem.”
Jade is also called “the Sport Stone” promoting agility and swiftness. It also provides confidence, assisting one in the attainment of self-assuredness, self-reliance, and self-sufficiency.” Jade is purported to enhance inner peace, stimulate and encourage wisdom, and help with releasing negative thoughts. A stone of well-being and balance, Jade alleviates anxiety and fear based convictions.
Malachite is the “stone of transformation,” assisting one in clearing the path allowing one to modify the behavior that holds you back from realizing your full potential. The deep forest green of Malachite facilitates deep healing and cleansing. It can aid in breaking down old patterns, whether emotional (stuck patterns of behavior) or physical. “It stimulates instinctive and intuitive reasoning, allowing for change which facilitates advancement. It also represents fidelity in love and friendship, loyalty in partnerships, and practicality and responsibility in business transactions.”
Pyrite gets its name from Greek, meaning, “a stone which strikes fire.”
